Autopsy of Rapper Juice WRLD Unable to Determine Cause of Death
UPDATE: Law enforcement sources reportedly tell TMZ that the pilot of Juice WRLD’s private jet may have been the one who contacted authorities that his group had guns aboard the plane, which is what led to FBI and FAA officials waiting for them upon their arrival in Chicago.
Two of the rapper’s associates were arrested for gun possession.
TMZ also reports that Juice WRLD was seen swallowing several Percocet pills in what people believed was an attempt to hide them.
The autopsy of Chicago rapper Juice WRLD was reportedly unable to determine a cause of death, stating the results of the examination as inconclusive, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Juice WRLD, whose real name was Jared Anthony Higgins, died Sunday at the age of 21 after going into cardiac arrest while at Chicago Midway Airport.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office which performed the autopsy Monday, said additional studies were required, including “cardiac pathology, neuropathology, toxicology and histology.”
According to TMZ, federal officials reportedly confiscated 70 pounds of marijuana from the plane that the rapper and several others were traveling on. The FBI has not commented on the situation.
