She’s just getting out in front of it. Just a matter of time till they bring it up on stage and she can say she’s already addressed it.
She probably just noticed, as many of us have over the years, that there’s little way to prove race, and no mechanism for enforcement, so why not check whichever little box you’d like? Why would anyone WANT to have the box marked White?
Next question to her is: how are you personally going to right those wrongs?
