I didn’t see anything wrong with the ad.
However, after watching it I did tell my husband not to get me exercise equipment for Christmas unless I specifically ask for it.
It would have been more effective if she’d been a chunky chick when he got her the bike and the ad showed her slimming down over time, or hiking, or running marathons...
Except then the “outrage” would have been about body shaming or some such contrived nonsense.
