The presser with Pompeo and Esper WAS at Maralago. I wonder why the press would go over to the golf club at 7:14 if the president was at Maralago. I’m going back to my original suspicion that the president is returning from somewhere - maybe he’s bringing Kim to Maralago! lol that would be too much.
Could even take him in back entrance of WH and no one would notice LOL.

Do you remember the Kruschev visit to the United States. He spent a day on a farm with a farm family. Visited numerous grocery stores because he thought the one they first took him to was set up. When he was finally convinced they all had that much food to buy he broke into tears. He traveled from coast to coast IIRC
All this was done without a lot of fanfare. Press and pictures were released later in respect to him. I’d like to see this type of visit set up for Kim.
