I never considered that the president could be secretly be meeting with China. I have been half suspecting some surprise - I was wondering if all of the rockets going off was to send off signals by NK, and that they’re actually moving forward on things. Then the president didn’t seem particularly harsh on Kim when the whole Christmas present thing happened - it was like he knew he didn’t have to worry as it was all planned.
