I agree 100%. I know myself speaking here. Because of me my husband and I worked ..me close to 70 years old...and him in his 70's. He always told me he worked because he loved the people and it kept him in good health walking over 10,000 steps a day. If the truth was really known....he worked to make sure we had excellent health care from Humana. And it was because of me mainly. Humana saved my life(husband actually knowing how to work the system to get thousands of dollars from them-FORTEO/injections)HEALTHCARE needs to be addressed and a top priority ..thanks.

Wes..you and your family are so full of Christian Love. It brings tears to my eyes. As the Pastor said in the sermon Christmas Eve...our Gift from God was His Son giving EVERLASTING LOVE. And its important for us to remember our gift giving. It too should be with lots of thought especially on the Blessed Day of Christmas. AND what better Gift as in what your Family decided.....the Gift of sharing Love. Its those times I sit looking around and think.....I want this to last forever. Its as if I'm taking a picture in my head to remember always.

One couple at the gathering are six months shy of getting on Medicare and she developed blood clots in her lung. They have that under control, but think she may have cancer. So they're struggling because they couldn't afford great health insurance and now all the hospital bills and new tests that can't wait six months. They just retired a year ago. I do thank God for my great retirement including healthcare. Between it and Medicare I pay zero even though my chemo treatments are close to 15k each. Pubbies need to be telling people they have a plan.
