Subject: Out-of-town pool report #17: Church service and departure
The church service opened with renditions of “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and other Christmas songs. A choir sang, clapped and swayed back and forth to a lively version of “Go Tell It On The Mountain.”

A family seated on the edge of the stage read the Christmas story from Luke Chapter 2.
Pool was ushered out of the church as the pastor started to speak.
At the beginning of the homily, Pastor Jimmy Scroggins spoke about the birth of Jesus. “There was no Secret Service. There was no motorcade. There was no gaggle of press.”
POTUS and the First Lady exited the church at 7:03 pm holding hands. POTUS waved to the pool and then they stepped into a black van.
Motorcade is rolling at 7:05 pm.
Melania is the epitome of beauty, humility, genuineness and dignity. She is exactly the opposite of most politicians.
