Hubby and I both grew up in Denver. Decided to “semi” retire, in our mid 50’s in a place with less snow. Built a house in Edmond in 2007 and we traveled back and forth to Denver every week for almost 7 years (our business). Then we found a nice farm property with a pond to fish and sold our other house to one of the basketball players and built on the farm. Now we have a mule, couple mini donkeys, guinea hens (had 5 when we went to Denver a couple weeks ago, got back a day later and 3 more moved in), ducks, dogs and a cat who runs the place. Love it here. Guess after 12 years, we are Okies.
Sounds absolutely delightful.
I have family in Lawton that I haven’s seen in many many years.
Always just wanted to go there and show up on their doorstep.
Did that this summer to 2 cousins, one in Idaho the other in Utah.
