I do all of the cooking and baking, I used to just LOVE to do it, now I dread it, what was once fun is now just a dreaded chore!! I consider myself very blessed however BECAUSE I used to have to go out and shop for all of the gifts NOW everything just comes to the front door in a couple of days!!! I absolutely hate Bezos politics for sure, BUT I love this guy for Amazon, absolutely AMAZING company!!! The one thing I have ALWAYS HATED was shopping and malls they NO LONGER exist for me. I haven’t been to a brick and mortar store (except groceries) in at least 3 years!!!

I agree about Bezos and his politics, but.....man, does he have the shopping/same day/next day delivery thing down, pat.
I needed a few things, yesterday, and...lo and behold....right there on Amazon was $10 off, my SAME DAY Whole Foods delivery. How could I resist...especially since my local grocer didn’t have MANY of the things I’d gone for, the day before.
Whole Foods had EVERYTHING I needed, arrived within an hour ½ AND.....their packaging (in brown paper bags) was EXTRAORDINARY!! Iced down cold items, sealed in their own freezer bags, within the brown bag.....eggs labeled EGGS and pie (an apple pie for one relative who only likes apple pie) labeled....PIE: DO NOT lift from top. Everything double sealed, so you know NO ONE, except packer, has handled items.
I was VERY impressed.

When I was in Juno end of August and San Antonio last April I did go into wine shops, fish stores and a few others. Otherwise nothing for years. I hate shopping of any kind. Even my groceries are delivered for the last 7 months due to my eye issues. I hate being dependent on my children to pick up this or that. I’m not even sure who is bringing me to my mom’s tonight, I may end up having to urber it at least there. I’ll urber to and from my ex-DIL’s for New Years Eve also. I refuse to stay home alone and like last year I will enjoy her party rather than feel sorry for myself and be all alone.
