We used to play the “ red rover, red rover we dare “Sonny” over”. game on our parking lot blacktop “playground” when I was in grade school. I cannot imagine that such a “rough” game would be allowed today.
How about tug-of-war? That one would be banned for sure, too violent because the opposing team might fall down.
