We landed back at JBA around 1140. POTUS came off the plane at 1150 and did not speak to the press before getting on Marine One. It is miserably cold, and the wind made for a bumpy landing.

Marine One touched down on a brutally cold South Lawn at 12:09 a.m. POTUS, wearing a dark overcoat and gloves, stepped off three minutes later after chatting with the pilots for a moment. He waved to the pool but did not stop to chat, ignoring shouted questions about how he feels and whether he might allow senior aides to testify in the Senate trial. He entered the residence at 12:13 a.m.
