1) It's great that the FISA court slammed the FBI and acknowledged the obvious--that deceiving a surveillance court is a grave thing. But the follow on order is pathetic, as it is essentially: Please tell us how you intend to do better. Really?— Kimberley Strassel (@KimStrassel) December 17, 2019
2) Courts have the ability to discipline those who undermine the integrity of a court's functions. They can even appoint special investigators. Is the court not curious if this behavior happened in other warrants? And if court-imposed sanction isn't relevant here, when is it?— Kimberley Strassel (@KimStrassel) December 17, 2019
Was it you Jane?
Sure is a great question.
Why isn't #Comey being held accountable for MASSIVE ERRORS & OMISSIONS on behalf of the FBI?! A CEO would go to JAIL for signing a report riddled w/ errors. Why r investors being protected against lousy execs when Americans privacy rights arent being protected by the #FBI head? pic.twitter.com/t2NxYsPEVd— Trish Regan (@trish_regan) December 18, 2019
