Impeachment! - How did we get here?
IMHO...
Democrats found encouragement to disrespect and oppose president Trump right from the start when many leading republicans ('Never Trunmpers") openly showed their own resentment,
dislike and disdain for him.
Instead of rallying around and defending their own president from the very first, many sat quietly on the sidelines as democrats repeatedly attacked him and trashed him in the most vile ways.
Heck - even worse, some republicans joined in, taking a swipe at him whenever they had an opportunity.
If republicans had fiercely defended their own president and countered democrats in the early stages of their extreme Trump derangement it would certainly have dampened, possibly even quelled,
the more radical and vehement attacks.
By not doing so republicans gave democrats free rein to trash the president.
Democrats became more and more emboldened and their insanity began feeding on itself.
When they watched even the republican Leader of the House (Rat Ryan) openly disrespect and oppose his own president they were quick to get the message: "Trump Stands Alone - Go Get Him!"
Republicans could have united and slapped down this political insurrection to a great degree when it was in its infancy.
But they didn't - they let it grow and even fueled it to some extent.
The small fire has become an inferno.
Republicans must now sit there helpless as the insanely crazy leftists move to impeach their own president on bogus charges.
An innocent man, perhaps the most effective, competent, productive president we have ever had, is being dragged through the mud by a rabid mob and there is little the weak spined republicans
can do about it at this late stage.
THAT'S MY 2¢!
