Today marks the 75th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Bulge.

Yesterday, Dec. 15, 1944, marked the 75th anniversary of the disappearance of Major Glenn Miller, Army Air Corps, over the English Channel when his plane went missing and presumed crashed. He was being flown to Paris to make arrangements for his Army band to be performing there in the near future.
