My daughter dropped that one on me the other day. Rather than us having a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings, we’re having a Charcuterie afternoon. She’s a real gourmet/adventurer when it comes to food (she currently has a giant jar of kambuchee? with a huge “scobie” growing in it - GROSS) on her counter. My son also enjoys hunting and smoking meats. He’s a bit of a food adventurer as well.
End result? Nanna doesn’t get her stuffed turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes and all the veggies, followed by pumpkin pie.
What’s wrong with tradition? It’s called tradition for a reason.
