I wonder if Hollywood types know they are singing a hymn when then recite the 12 Days of Christmas? LOL
Years ago my eight graders sang to song and came up with costumes. It was hilarious. So funny that I actually got called into the principals office. The math teacher who got hit on head with bouncing egg didn’t think it was funny !
“ Honest to God, I didn’t know hard boiled eggs could fly”. WKRP stole that line from me.
After we were done I shared this bit of history with the student. One of student now singing with me in cantata asked if I still had it. Looked it up for her and am now sharing with my little church and you all ! Who said church must stay out of the school is wrong.
