My son (the one that lives here in SA) can’t understand why I’m grumpy and depressed. He still does things for me if I need it. He’s driving me to Dallas for checkup this week.
That’s too bad your friend’s friend is like that. I had a neighbor that was my BFF until I couldn’t take her everywhere.
Your friend is what is called “a fair weather friend” great as long as you could do for her everything was hunky-dory.
My friend lives next door to this lady and they have been friends for some time and it was just fine until my friend just couldn’t physically do the same things she had always done, just like what happened to your friendship.
She is just too kind to turn her back but tries to get others to pitch in.
So glad your son is helping you and it is hard to understand sometimes what another is going through.
And I know you would never wish your problems on him so he would understand.
