Subject: Out-of-town pool report #11: JBA arrival

AF1 touched down at JBA at 12:13 a.m. The press cabin had no visitors during the flight.

POTUS stepped off the plane at 12:29.a.m., along with Jared Kushner, Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio and what the White House said was a group of elected officials from Florida. POTUS headed straight to Marine One, which was wheels up seven minutes later.

Handing off to the in-town pool for Marine One’s arrival back at the White House.

A special shout-out to Meridith McGraw of Politico for her help in pooling tonight’s events.

Have a great weekend, everybody.

Subject: WH pool report 5

Marine 1 swooped in with Orion, Sirius and Rigel high overhead and settled onto a cold South Lawn at 0046.

The president emerged from the helicopter wearing his overcoat and walked across the grass, waving at the small contingent of press gathered by the South Portico entrance but not taking any questions about Giuliani, Ukraine or the Pensacola shooting.

He entered the residence at 0049.

The White House press office announced a lid at 0050.

This was not an act of workplace violence, this was not a random murder, this was an act of premeditated terrorism against our country and military on our soil.

I spoke with @POTUS late yesterday about the need for a more thorough review of the Saudi training and flight program. pic.twitter.com/aHF8naKx6M— Rep. Matt Gaetz (@RepMattGaetz) December 8, 2019
