The GOP lead Benghazi four year and Clinton email two year investigations when they had the majority in both houses of congress:

0 indictments 0 convictions

However since the Democrats took over the House and started investigations of President Trump’s activities the results have been:

Are Democrats just better at investigations than Republicans or is the GOP just as good and discovered NO CRIMES were committed? The latter would be my assumption. However some right leaning media and politicians don't feel that the GOP is good at investigating as they still bring up Benghazi and Clinton emails as they move to the GOP Biden investigation.

You might want to mention to your hubby's classmate that the DOJ was controlled by a dim, Holder, and they slow walked or refused to give up documents on Benghazi, Trey Gowdy finally gave up in disgust.

Same thing happened with Hitlery e-mails.

The dims are just so much better at hiding and lying.

They have the LSM hiding and lying for them too.

Indictments are a dime a dozen, remember someone saying they can indict a ham sandwich.

And we know how they have pulled off some of the convictions, hiding exculpatory evidence, threatening, more lying.

Course he would never believe ANYTHING that we have to say but we will get the last laugh.

The answer to your Elite friend is quite simple:

In both cases we had a corrupt FBI. a corrupt DOJ and a corrupt swamp of both Dem and GOP covering for each other, over a multi-year period.

To be fair, now that the FBI/DOJ is cleaned up, and the Swamp is missing a lot of the politicos in the past two years, let’s see what the indictment/imprisonment record is over the next year or so.

Then you can compare records accurately.
