The House can vote to impeach any time it has the majority vote to do so. It can be very soon, during the presidential campaign, or even the day before the election.

But as soon as Articles of Impeachment are voted by the House and delivered to the Senate, the trial begins and all other work stops.

OK, so the dims impeach which they can do at anytime, my question is can they hold it up, not deliver it to the Senate for trial?

I’m not trying to be difficult but some have mentioned that the dims will hold it up from going to the Senate for trial.

I just want to know can they do that?
