Climate change alarmists are pushing for a change in vocabulary to scare people into taking global warming more seriously, starting with terms like “global meltdown” and “climate collapse.”
Writing for AdAge this week, Aaron Hall argues that in order to get people to “take action” against climate change, “rebranding” is crucial, since people have gotten too used to the idea that climate is changing and need to be shocked into the notion that the world as we know it is ending.
“Is there a better way to convey the urgency of the situation, while also encouraging folks to take action? Could the tools of branding and brand naming create a more resonant, powerful name?” Mr. Hall asks.

If I had a child who was traumatized by this BS crap, I would be furious.
First it was an impending Ice age, then global warming, then climate change- anything to control us, scare us and steal our money.
How about just flailing your arms and screaming? It conveys the feeling that Democrats want you to experience.
Why don’t they just call it what it is...leftist insanity?

There needs to be a study that shows how the planet would be saved if all the climate change, Marxist, alarmists just offed themselves. They could then enrich the planet and feel fulled as their life force drains away. That study, of course, would be conducted with the same rectitude as the current crop of climate scientist junk science.
They are already saying “climate crisis” or “climate emergency”.
Words like these make me think: Well, I guess it’s too late. We might as well go ahead and burn as much fossil fuel as we like.
That has been my thought for quite awhile now. If they feel that strongly they should set the first example.
The left really needs to publish their vocabulary handbook so everyone is on the same page.
This religion needs a savior.
How about “Climate Averagageddon”? It’s where the climate grows warmer or colder from decade to decade, up and down, but well within the average for an interglacial period. But you get to panic about it.
