"Thank God. Those damn CD things sound like crap on my turntable." Upon the advent of CD's to replace records, I once got into a LONG discussion with one of those "audiophile dudes" at a party about how I believed that vinyl records deliver a STRONGER, RICHER BASS RESPONSE than CD's do.. He said "Hmmmm, never thought about that.."
Never researched whether I am right or just imagined it, but I trust my ears and still have many of my old records.

It's pretty easy to find used records stores in most areas.They often have some new releases on vinyl too. Nothing beats a 12" single with a good cartridge on a good turntable. The difference is stunning. CD and digital is SO much more convenient it's no wonder it all but killed vinyl less the 2 years.

Yeah, I have a buddy that has some supposedly oxygen free speaker cables because they produce a more pure sound. Maybe I can sell him some carbon credits or crypto currency.
