I had six ancestors on the Mayflower.
John Alden, Priscilla Mullins, & Myles Standish were my 9th great grandparents.
William and Mary Mullins, Priscilla's parents who died the first winter.
These five were associated with the London Company of Merchant Adventurers.
My remaining Mayflower ancestor was George Soule, servant to Edward Winslow. He was a member of the Leiden Congregation.
About 6% of the US population can claim an ancestor on the Mayflower. While it is nice, it won't pay for your morning coffee.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
One of the 94 percent.
That is cool, DH's descent starts with William Bradford >>William Bradford Jr >> Hannah Bradford m Joshua Abbe, etc, etc.
Some ladies in the family carry the name Abbe to this day :). Genealogy can be quite interesting.
Hey, Cousin!
I am one of that 6 %. A descendant of John and Priscilla via my paternal grandmother’s lineage - She was Mary Lou Yancey from Rome Georgia, niece of William Lowndes Yancey.
I was surprised to find this on Ancestry.com. My dad always told me were were related to the Byrds, Batts, and Buggs - made fun of it all.
Aren’t we lucky they decided to make that perilous journey?
William Brewster descendant here.
I imagine there are hundreds of thousands of us!
