There are several Spanish Land Grants in the country. These are tax exempt properties. If, however, they are sold the tax exempt status goes away.
The key is to marry into the family that still holds the Spanish Land Grants. It’s the only way to preserve the status.

I was never thinking about not paying real estate taxes.
Nor was I espousing to anyone else not to pay real estate taxes. Sorry if it was taken that way.
I am in a position today where I no longer have to pay real estate taxes.
Regardless, I was just wondering what a land patent would buy me.
So far, as far as I got, supposedly air & mineral rights...
