That happened to my mother! She was having her car filled at a full service filling station. The attendant put the pump in the tank and never returned. So, Mom put the car in reverse to see what happened to him. Gas went everywhere!
The police issued the ticket to the ATTENDANT!
Mom decided not to tell Dad about the incident, but he heard all about it on the radio station. BIG NEWS for a small town.
