In my opinion, I've heard and read President Trump asking "can you believe" there are 27 thousand Mexican soldiers at/near are border to halt caravans and other illegals from entering the US. I think he's being sarcastic - so I imagine him answering his own question, "I don't."
I'm not a military person so I look at the numbers like a civilian, but the caravans were moving along a limited number of known routes and I don't believe 27K soldiers would be needed to create choke points and stop them. I believe if there were 27K soldiers in place, we wouldn't have as much illegal crossers as we have. So I believe it's likely our diplomat(s) asked, "Why are tens of thousands of your soldiers gathered at our border" and the answer they were given is that said soldiers were there to protect against border crossers. I think that sometimes POTUS sound sarcastic when he brings it up. Further, he seems to use it against Mexico, portraying their army as incompetent.
I've think the POTUS offered to assist Mexico, after the killing of the Mormon family, with our army by refering to war and saying, "Sometimes it takes an army to defeat an army," because their army is a strong part of their cartels (along with CIA, UN, ISIS and other) and are the ones actually committing the murders. But if it's true that "the cartels" include so many, then how could a white hat president last more than 2 hours without assasination?

The "great new president" phrase sounds like the tone POTUS when he says Nellie Ohr is a lovely woman. Words like "war" and "wipe them from the face of the earth" are usually reserved for enemies, not the way one offers to help a neighbor.

I’ve visited Ile D’Orleans several times and was dumbfounded to discover my ancestor is buried there. Used to take friends on this obscure road in Sugar Hill NH and say that’s where I’d have a 2nd house, if I could. Thought I’d later discovered an ancestor buried at the end of the road, but it was only a 1st cousin. Wrote a book on a Dunkin Donuts stool. When I turned around, turned out I was looking at an ancestral graveyard and house.
Has anyone else discovered they accidentally moved into their genealogical center?

I had a group of family members who moved here in 1893. The link above tells of the crime that led to the last lynching in AZ. This story is about my cousin and his wife as featured in the 5-6-1917 Arizona Republican Per Mrs. Gibson’s testimony at the inquest following the crime and the capture of Star Daley, the Gibson’s had traveled 7 miles down the Superior/Florence highway where they had made camp. Mrs. Gibson was building a fire when Star Daley walked into their camp, leading a horse. He asked for a drink of water and Mr. Gibson supplied it. A short time later, Daley shot and killed James Roy. He then turned his attention to Mrs. Gibson who relayed the horrors of his crimes. He took her clothes away and subjected her to forceful rape throughout the night. She gave examples of his depravity quoting Daley, he said “We will leave the body here, and forget it, then get married. Sell the car and go to Oklahoma.” Mrs. Gibson told Daley that she would not leave her husband’s body even if he should kill her.
The next morning, Daley wanted Mrs. Gibson to shave his mustache with her husbands’ razor but she declined saying she did not know how. Daley shaved his mustache and finally convinced Mrs. Gibson to go with him, with the agreement that he would take her husbands body to Mesa.
