LJ, I know you aren't mil, but if the CINC says you ain't taking the Trident, you publicly say we are, and the SecDef talks to you, you are fired or in this case (Look out BR) shitcanned. Whether from the President or quietly by the SecDef you got fired. No-brainer.
That does indeed seem clear; Spencer was asking for it. I hope any more officers of Spencer’s ilk will be leaving too, whatever branch they may be in.
