Could it be that Schiff wants to keep the hearings going simply because he knows he cannot be arrested while hearings/meetings are going on?

I'm sure he would love that, but that weasel isn't in the decision making loop. While impeachment does provide some cover (Trump is trying to fight impeachment and retaliating), the derp trouble is MUCH bigger than the weak-meat Schiff.

This goes all the way to the top (Obama/Hillary-American Division) to the true masters, Cobra Command itself. The entire derp state is in danger.

One liddle Adam Schiff means nothing in the big picture. Their decisions will be made with that in mind.

I fully expect them to try to make a fire wall and cordon off the damage short of the Obama White House and Hillary if they can. They will gladly let Comey, Brennan, Clapper, some FBI and DOJ bigwigs go down, if they can contain it there.

I bet that's what's in their heads. Impeachment is merely another firewall and holding pattern.

Too bad it's weakening them.
