It makes it almost impossible to prove libel or slander against them if you are famous.

If they cold be sued I think we wouldn't have so many misinformed voters.

I’ve seen that Justice Thomas has mentioned this recently as something that needs to be looked at by SCOTUS. Nunes’ lawsuit may do it.
