“ The narrative being, no president under impeachment, can nominate a Supreme Court Justice.”

Not sure that’s written anywhere, but I am sure that represents the “feelings” of democrats. That will make for extra fun watching their heads explode.

That would be unconstitutional as it assumes the guilt of a citizen that is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

It would be the trifecta on exploding dim heads. First, you can’t consider a nominee in an election year (Merrick Garland), thanks Mitch. Second, Trump and Mitch do exactly that. Third, Trump nominating under impeachment. It would be magnificent to watch.
