Then the expansion of the universe looking more and more like the expansion is slowly accelerating, not decelerating like you'd expect if you believe it'll one day contract (for the oscillating universe). In other words, it's looking more and more like the big bang was a one time event, spitting out matter and energy and perhaps defining some things in physics in a finely tuned manner, instead of happening infinitely times until all phenomena are just right (similar to how my kids used to hit the reset button on their video game over & over until it worked out well for them).
Possible to find advanced life? Yes. Probable? Not IMHO.
Depends. String theory suggests 10 dimensions.

Plus, if I'm not mistaken, string theory has gone through so many changes over the decades that we might as well today call it "sheets theory" or "objects theory" instead of "string theory".
And I've read some people say having more than 4 dimensions might explain God's seemingly omnipresence over the entire world...all the time. I've also heard it say that maybe that's how Jesus popped into the house the disciples were in after He resurrected.
All that's well and good from either a Christian, atheist, or secular perspective. But before I jump too much into believing in the existence of string theory and supersymmetry I'd like more than just mathematical theories.
