Dan Patrick: Jay-Z 'Pressured' Roger Goodell to Schedule Colin Kaepernick Workout

This Colin Kaepernick workout situation has been haphazard and it's hard to know exactly what to make from it. Beyond that, where did it come from? Dan Patrick has a source who believes Jay-Z was behind the decision for the NFL to grant him this workout:

Patrick said: "According to my source, Jay-Z said that he took a reputational bullet for the Commissioner when they had that press conference [with] his new role in the NFL. Social agenda. Social injustice. He was gonna help with the entertainment for halftime. All of this. My source said that Jay-Z was pressuring the Commissioner to do the right thing and have this workout for Colin Kaepernick."

Laughing at all the owners that wanted to keep this $25 million a year albatross! Hate to say it but Jerry Jones wanted him gone and no one listen to him.

Watching highlights from NFL games shows that many stadiums are more then half empty. It's like the cameras try to avoid showing all the empty seats but they can't hide it. The NFL is definitely moving in a downward direction. They did it to themselves and continue to do it with displays like this Kaparneck tryout.

Before the race-agitating, commercials had made football unwatchable. I remember someone pointing out that if you were actually at the stadium, you were just sitting there while commercials played for the TV audience.

Our local MLS team (NY Red Bulls) built a small stadium just south of me because when they played in Giants Stadium it was just embarrassing. Only fans in the lowest level (of three), and even then they were sparse. Kept the cameras focused on the field so they didn’t have it seen on TV.
