I watched the game(I’m a Browns fan sadly) and saw it live. I think Rudolph should get a one game suspension for trying to pull Garret’s helmet off, if he didn’t do that none of this would have happened. Pouncey should get three games, Ogunjobi four, and Garret for the rest of the season. No one is innocent in that fight.

Clearly Rudolph tried to yank Garrets Head/Helmet off.. Garret then yanked Rudolphs facemask and yanked him around like a rag doll yanking his helmet off, the other steelers jumped in, Garret swung the helmet and connected, and then got pummeled.
I am not defending or advocating any of it... just saying that the claim that Rudolph “kicked” at Garret before Garret ripped at his helmet is a misrepresentation.
The “kick” was after his facemask was grabbed, and was more of a defensive move to get him away/let go, than an aggressive move as portrayed.
None of it is excusable believe me, and yes had Rudolph not tried to remove Garret’s helmet this all probably would not have happened. However, I suspect this was escalating long before this event, as most things tend to do.
Either way, the NFL should come down on everyone involved... but using past as prologue, I wouldn’t expect it... After all, Pittsburgh has a rapist as its first string quarterback, who had two cops stand outside making sure no one interrupted him as he did it.
NFL is a joke when it comes to actually holding folks accountable for their behaviors.
