Oh, and I forgot to mention one other thing: Linda Woolverton explicitly stated that the messages she intended to push in Beauty and the Beast were the exact same messages that she tried to push in that awful Maleficent movie about five years ago. That if anything shows it’s EXTREMELY agenda driven, arguably even MORE agenda driven than The Lion King or Aladdin ever were (probably on par with Pocahontas, which is the closest thing to an adaptation of Howard Zinn’s anti-American textbook).
