Reminds me of pics I saw of people playing video games on their smartphones during Trump’s SoU address. One of them was McCain.
It seemed ridiculous that they were doing that, but now it’s clear they were in direct comms with each other.

Good point! Now that you mention it, I recall some bitter complains from conservatives re the congress critters “playing games” on their phones during the State of the Union. So it was more than a sign of disrespect.
