If the message of your link is that in vivo genetic engineering could be a force used for great evil, then I absolutely agree with you.

Like the nucleus of the atom, the nucleus of human cells is a scientific frontier that could turn devastatingly destructive.

Personally, I do not believe in stopping the spread of scientific knowledge. But we need spiritual knowledge and the presence of God in out lives to keep apace.
