Handlers work the same way.
If Trump “freed” one of [them] like Kanye or Lindsey, we get the word out we are the new handler. And they are off limits. Or we release the [Weiner].
Leverage.
If Trump “freed” a politician, that means several things.
First, they admitted to crimes on film. Justice later.
Second, we have control of the blackmail.
Third, we are protecting them from [them].

I'm not used to thinking of much of any human plan as 100% perfect.

I didn’t know the R’s were in any position to “demand” much of anything.
It has looked like Schif for Brain’s own Roooles now trump constitutional law and civil protections. It looks ridiculous for R’s to make noise that has no merit under Shif Roooles.
Somebody better drag out the Constitution and prove that it still has TEETH, or else Schif Roooles set the new precedent.
I wonder if the Turtle could trouble himself to rise long enough to defend the Constitution, if not Trump, who is being crucified in our place.

In before the minutes needed in the shower to cleanse myself after a lengthy trip through the land beyond on the trees. Ugghhh. Will do the ablutions after removing the pencil from one eye. Ugghhh again.
It could be construed that POTUS et al have set up the patriots to mass movement PRESSURE POTUS to do what he wants & needs to do in order for him to be in a stronger position by virtue of mass, more intense public support. What if we are lagging on our part?
One news report I heard today (CBC radio, perhaps) talked about a few people dying, hundreds injured, with a few dozen being hospitalized. Then they quoted a local farmer as saying that all 300 of her sheep died from the earthquake.
At the time this struck me as really odd. Are sheep literally frightened to death by the ground shaking? Or, as you suggest, is there something else going on?
