Who was it that sat on the couch? Wasn’t there some ad campaign about bi-partisanship where maybe Pelosi and W sat on a couch together on the beach? My memory is failing me today.

It was Pelosi and Newt Gingrich. Don't recall what it was about. It came to my attention when he ran for president in 2012. I voted for Newt in the primary even though he looked like the Pillsbury Doughboy's grandpa. ;)

OMG! Newt! I honestly thought it was W. I think it had something to do with Hurricane, whoops! Superstorm Sandy or some such nonsense. Newt. No wonder I couldn’t find anything when I googled it.
