Was it in the hold of the Ark that has remains in an “unreachable” spot on Ararat? Wouldn’t that be a hoot - finding the Ark in the Ark....

I believe Ron Wyatt found it in 1982 (located 20 feet under Golgotha). The reasons he left it there are discussed in multiple interviews and articles. Also, he did find an ivory pomegranate linked to the first temple of Solomon and gave it to the Israel antiquities department. It is the ONLY known item ever discovered from the first temple (and there's a story behind that too....was stolen and then bought back). The Israeli government knows exactly where it is but I believe is going to leave it there until the time is right. (right now it would start a war...fanatics what it in their plan to rebuild the temple, etc...) there is a lot of compelling evidence.
