I fell in love with Bob Dylan when my much older sister gave me his first album, I went to hear him at the Newport Folk Festival, before he was electric. Right after he electrified, right in the beginning, I went up to Providence and heard him. I grew up as a young adolescent with Pete Seeger records etc in the house. Too bad he was a commie! Dylan is not really a liberal at all, he’s an interesting fellow.

Agreed. Bought his documentary. Saw him at Orchestra Hall in Chicago. He had the audience in his hand. He moved his finger just a small amount and a dead hush descended. Segovia, on the other hand, was the most boring experience I can remember. Never saw a concert where I spent the time imagining the musician counting his money instead of loving to perform. Oh, also saw Judy Collins in a coffee house.

I was there also, about 1969 if I recall correctly.

Did you see me? That was when I still had hair.
