(Didn't really bother me that much, but some of the other drivers were really getting squirrely....)
I’ve been in two Great Blizzards. The first in Chicago, when all of the car roofs were covered. Met wonderful people digging us out as we made our way some 40 blocks to dig out grandmother. The second was in Boston when the National Guard dug us out from the highway. I think the famous last words were “Why don’t we wait a while and let the snow stop before we leave work?” Walked 10 miles home the next day for the dogs, but the neighbors had broken into the house to care for them. Thank goodness for neighbors.
Yep. I’ll buy moderation.
