During pregnancy from day 1 there are 2 periods during gestation that are known as “Interphase” where the mother and the fetus are essentially one in all ways. The natural order and function of he human body remembers this and the residual impact of removing it prior to birth bears a mark that can be devastating even years later.
My Ex had an abortion when she was 15 and I married her when she was 35 and she had never had children in between. We went through counseling around this and during the sessions which had many other women who had had abortions the residual impact of doing this even though it was “legal” was profound and devastating
