I have a friend whose son spent a college semester in Denmark his senior year. He said that everything was horrifyingly expensive. He ate meals with the host family or at 7-11 because even a sandwich and drink at a restaurant would set you back at least twenty-five bucks U.S.

The minimum wage in Denmark is apparently around $25.

I lived in Spain for several years as a kid when my dad was stationed there in the Air Force. So I have experience living in a foreign county. We also traveled throughout Europe, England, Greece and Morocco in North Africa on car vacations.

The grass is not always greener somewhere else. I was never so glad to set foot in the good ol' USofA when we returned to the states.

People who have not lived in other countries do not know what it's like.

There is nothing better than the US.
