You might be right. The networks are probably scrambling to save face as much as possible and try to deflect attention away from themselves as being part of the coup
I was thinking that CBS sees the train coming and want to have an actual reporter familiar with what’s been going on now for a number of years. None of the boot-lickers there currently even have a clue.
Could be wishful thinking, but being positive always gives you a better outlook :)
