” I knew she would want to see through the curtain so I bought clear...”

You are so thoughtful!!!

I have been worrying about all the outside animals here, it was 12° last night! I have an extra heated Kitty pad, wish I could send it your way. Guess I’ll hang on to it in case another stray shows up. I used to have it in a little wooden how’s my son built for a stray one year. It traveled from California to Tennessee. The heated pads are pretty neat, they activate when there is a weight on them. So they’re not left on all the time. My outside cat that passed away a few months ago used to love that thing. I started letting him inside when he became older and wasn’t quite as feral. But he would still go outside and sit on the pad for a few hours and then come in again.

My indoor cats go and look for her. They hiss and she hisses back at times. That's the beginning of a friendship. We are waiting for the inside to accept her. Its a process. We'll see. We do this when we bring in a newbie..we put them in a closed door room. We wait until everyone goes to the door and begs us to open it and let the newbie out. Its always worked for us. Then we ignore the newbie for several weeks so there's no jealousy.
