Under your tongue? My dr said to think of it as a dental procedure (mine wasn’t malignant actually turned out to be a misplaced baby tooth). But it DID heal about the same as a regular tooth extraction! Be praying for you. That it’s easy and heals quickly. 💕

I had what you are talking about done first, HM. But this last time the surgery was deeper, so they had to take so much out that they cut out a piece of skin and muscle from my leg and sewed it to the floor of my mouth. Damaged nerves from the procedure has caused numbness of the tongue and chin, which may or may not go away.

They are going to cut more out of the floor, and I still haven’t recovered from the first one. So more pain, and back to liquid diet. After a month, I can eat some soft foods chopped up, although it is painful to do so.
