Sorry but I don't think it was her that alerted our President on Tillerson. Our President knew Tillerson for several years. He's one of the people our President said he will put in places that are the best at what they do. They will be far from the people we will like but they will be used for a particular job. Apparently Tillerson was needed in Saudi Arabia. That is who we met first.....our President knew Tillerson as Rush says..."Like the back of his hand".

Nikki Haley has NEVER had our President's ear! She believed in the UN as our President spoke about in his rallies..he did not like the UN. So he wisely put a RINO in that position that did believe in the UN. SO NO, I believe and will not give Nikki ANY correct for the departure of Tillerson or Kelly. Kelly was a back stabber and Ivanka and Jared made sure President Trump knew this. Ivanka and Jared are in the White House to protect a father and FIL. Love and loyalty are FIRST in our President's moral compass. My 2 cents.

And they are a very good 2 cents worth of wisdom.

I never thought Nikki was solidly in Trump’s camp, there are many he had to hire that weren’t, some came around and some didn’t.

I wonder if we will ever get the true facts of what went on here.

Rush said that Nikki never told Trump at the beginning of his show and then later seemed to backtrack and say has anyone ever asked her if she did tell Trump.

I hope that he will someday write his memoirs and tell us all and I hope I’m still alive to read it, OTOH if I have passed on I’ll know the truth.

I am reading Cliff Sims first book mostly for entertainment.(I am woefully behind on my reading). After Haley came out with the Tillerson\Kelly disclosure, I now have to re-read this book more for content.

Early on, Sims says he had a bad feeling about Kelly after Kelly's introductory speech to WH personnel.

The primary theme of his speech was that he planned to approach his new job by serving the country, then the President, in that order, and that we should do the same.
And the more I let it soak in, the more I thought that what Kelly was saying—country first, POTUS second—was, at best, a bit curious, and at worst, potentially hostile....
... but Kelly seemed to be saying that, in such a scenario, it might be necessary to subvert the President's wishes in service of some amorphous higher calling.
