Brownstown finally won the state volley ball Championship. For generations (their grandmothers and mothers) were beaten by Muncie Burris - a private school who could and did recruit the teams. They repeatedly would drive to Muncie who somehow always played the championship game on their home court.
Needless to say our community is ecstatic. I don’t know who is happier. The team or their families.
