DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2019
9:00AM In-House Pool Call Time
THE PRESIDENT has no public events scheduled.
Subject: pool report 5 (back to Trump rally)
A little colour from the president’s rally, which is now starting:
The Rupp Arena, home to the University of Kentucky Wildcats, has a capacity of 20,545 for basketball, according to its website. From pool’s position, the venue appears packed, except for an upper segment at one end, which was compensated for by several hundred people standing on the arena floor itself.
The atmosphere is enthusiastic.
The warm-up as usual was led by a steady flow of golden oldies from the 80s and beyond, not least M. Jackson’s “Beat it” and Neil Young. The crowd, kitted out with “Trump 2020” and “Keep America Great” placards, performed a number of Mexican waves. Sinatra’s “My Way” was briefly overridden by chants of “four more years.”
A large cheer went up when a group of several dozen individuals in T-shirts that said “read the transcript” entered.
Kellyanne Conway autographed placards.
Then Trump entered at 7:16 pm to the usual Lee Greenwood “God Bless the USA”.
His speech will be live on numerous TV/web channels.
I hope the President can rest some today. God bless him!
