If there's a problem anywhere, the dedicated 'rat simply:
1) Blames the entire situation on Trump.
1a) ...or on Glowbull Warming and Trump.
2) Plays the Race Card.
3) Claims total ignorance of the entire thing. (aka the Hillary's Mind is Jello Defense)
4) As a last resort (usually when the flames are beginning to lick at delicate portions of the anatomy) declare the whole thing is a parody.
